From Zero to 5K: A #buildinpublic journey

I am thrilled to share my journey from 0 to 5K followers in just one year! This incredible milestone wouldn't have been possible without the support and inspiration from the amazing communities of #buildinpublic and #indiehackers.

My journey began on April 21, 2023, with a Twitter account and a dream. Little did I know that in less than 12 months, I would be celebrating 5,000 followers and the incredible connections I've made along the way.

Here's a quick recap of my follower milestones:

• 0 to 100 followers: 30 days

• 100 to 1,000 followers: 123 days

• 1,000 to 2,000 followers: 72 days

• 2,000 to 3,000 followers: 45 days

• 3,000 to 4,000 followers: 30 days

• 4,000 to 5,000 followers: 28 days

As you can see, the growth has been exponential, and I owe a big part of that to the support and encouragement from the #buildinpublic and #indiehackers communities.

For those of you who are not familiar with these communities, #buildinpublic is a movement where founders and makers share their journey of building products in public. It's a fantastic way to get feedback, learn from others, and grow your audience.

#indiehackers is a community of developers, designers, and entrepreneurs who are building profitable online businesses and side projects. It's a great place to find like-minded individuals, share ideas, and get inspired.

Both communities have been instrumental in helping me reach this milestone. The support, advice, and encouragement from fellow builders and indie hackers have been invaluable. I've learned so much from their experiences and have been able to apply those lessons to my own journey.

To celebrate this milestone, I'd like to share a few key takeaways that have helped me grow my audience:
